If you do not need emergency treatment but have an urgent problem that can wait, please leave a message on the answerphone and our reception team will contact you when we reopen.
For patients registered with Denplan, we offer an independent out of hours emergency service with dentists exclusively from our practice. The mobile number of the dentist on call is available on the answerphone. The dentist is usually available from 6pm to 8pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 7pm at weekends. Please note, for Denplan patients, an excess charge of £20 will apply if it is necessary to reopen the practice to attend to your emergency. Telephone consultation advice is included in your monthly subscription.
For Denplan patients with a dental emergency away from home: If you are more than 40 miles away from the practice and you have a dental emergency, call the Denplan Helpdesk on 0800 844 999 and they will advise you. You can claim the cost of any treatment you need as part of your monthly plan. This insurance applies both in the UK and abroad.
For private and NHS patients with a dental emergency out of hours should telephone 111, where they will be triaged according to strict criteria to determine if emergency dental treatment is necessary.
